Emily Carey Participated in the Domino Players' Production of "Devious Laughter"

Emily Carey, a sophomore accounting/theatre major from North Brunswick, N.J., participated in the September 2014 Domino Players' production of Devious Laughter at Albright College's Wachovia Theatre.

The production of short plays, directed by Julia Matthews, Ph.D., associate professor of theatre and chair of Albright's theatre department, and by three Albright students, was held in a Black-Box format (seating on-stage).

Devious Laughter explored the sinister comedies of the Theatre of the Absurd. Each performance differed slightly as works by Harold Pinter, Eugene Ionesco and Samuel Beckett, as well as by Albright assistant professor of theatre Matt Fotis, Ph.D., was featured along with original comedy from the College's improvisational groups.
