Jessica D'Alessio Ventures Far From Campus for Winter Break Study

Jessica D'Alessio, a senior fashion/design track major from Clifton, N.J., is spending several weeks in Hawaii on a faculty-led trip to research the impact that boats, sonar and other noise producers have on whales.

Albright College has a three-week Winter Interim between the fall and spring semesters, affording students the opportunity to take classes or engage in research on campus, or travel far from Reading for both independent and faculty-led study opportunities. In recent years, students have traveled to Hawaii, Ecuador and Costa Rica for field studies.
