Richard Hanson Spends Summer 2016 Conducting ACRE Project

2016 Jul 5

Richard Hanson, a sophomore psychology major from Collegeville, Pa., is spending the summer tackling an Albright Creative Research Experience (ACRE) project.

Hanson's project is titled "Relationships with Narcissistic Partners: Satisfaction, Relationship Ideals, and Perceived Regard."

ACRE is a multi-disciplinary program that affords undergraduate students the opportunity to conduct research or pursue creative endeavors during the summer break or the three-week January Interim. Students work one-on-one with faculty mentors and receive stipends from the College.

Hanson is one of 24 Albright students, from various academic disciplines, conducting ACRE projects this summer. As part of their work, ACRE students present on their research during the summer and fall, and often go on to present their findings at regional or national conferences or use it as a springboard for further study.
