Adelle Schade Named Vice President at Albright College

Reading, PA (01/31/2024) — Effective immediately, Adelle Schade, Ph.D., Wernersville, Pa., has been promoted to Vice President of Strategic Partnerships and Chief Strategy Officer at Albright College.

The founder of Total Experience Learning (TExpL) at Albright, Schade previously served as the college's dean of pre-college and summer programs. In this new role, she will serve as a member of the college's Cabinet team and will oversee non-credit bearing components of TExpL, including pre-college and summer programs. She will also partner with college leadership to facilitate entrepreneurial business and educational opportunities designed to enhance the college's world-class programming and establish Albright as a hub of inventive and innovative thought leadership.

"This role is not just a new chapter in my career, but a testament to a collective journey toward the expansion of Total Experience Learning, which will now be a fundamental part of all aspects of Albright College, signifying a stronger, more cohesive relationship," said Schade. Before joining Albright College, Schade was a science teacher at Conrad Weiser High School for 25 years. She has been named the recipient of the Whitaker Center's Women in STEM Game Changer Award (2022), the Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania Berks County Take the Lead award (2023) and the Greater Reading Chamber Alliance Women2Women ATHENA Leadership Award (2023).

Schade holds a Bachelor of Science in health and physical education from West Chester University, a Master of Education degree in biology education from Kutztown University, a Master of Science degree in clinical microbiology from the Jefferson Graduate School of Biomedical Science, and a doctorate in cell and molecular biology from St. Joseph's University.
