Albright Psychology Professor Earns 2023 United Methodist Exemplary Teaching Award
Reading, PA (05/31/2023) — Keith Feigenson, Ph.D., Collegeville, Pa., associate professor of psychology at Albright College has been named winner of the United Methodist Exemplary Teaching Award.
The United Methodist Exemplary Teaching Award honors faculty who demonstrate teaching excellence and service.
The award recognizes Feigenson's effective teaching philosophy, which includes recognizing different types of learners, making material accessible to students, and ensuring learning through active engagement. During his nine years at Albright College, Feigenson has made a concerted effort to emphasize matters of diversity, equity and inclusion in all classes.
His passion for teaching is evident through the range of courses taught and his mentoring of thesis projects and independent studies including numerous student presentations at the Eastern Psychological Society Association Annual Conference in Boston.
