Albright College

Albright's academically-minded class of 2028 joins the Reading, Pa., community from both coasts, 14 different states and 10 countries - including Germany, Ghana, Italy, Macau S.A.R., Nepal, Portugal, Switzerland, Thailand and the United Arab Emirates. More than a third will compete as Division III varsity athletes and 47% will be the first in their families to attend college. Fifty-three percent are students of color, 27 identified as National Honor Society members and 36 speak at least two languages. 79% plan to take advantage of the college's distinctive co-major program, which enables students to cross or combine different programs, without taking longer to graduate.

A large class of academically-minded first year and transfer students are joining the Albright College community, as the class of 2027. Globally, they are joining the Reading, Pa., community from 18 different states and 14 countries. 36 graduated in the top 10% of their high school classes and 68 are eligible for Albright's prestigious Honors program. More than 50% are the first in their families to attend college. More than a third will compete as varsity Division III athletes. 70% plan to take advantage of the college's distinctive co-major program, which enables students to cross or combine different programs, without taking longer to graduate.

More than 20% of class members are eligible for Albright's rigorous honors program and 19 are Albright Shirk Scholars. More than 55% will be the first in their families to attend college.

Hailing from 21 states, and seven different countries, more than 57% of Albright College's class of 2025 are the first in their families to attend college, and all have demonstrated that they are engaged citizens with vast participation in community service, leadership and co-curricular activities like the arts, music, athletics. Hailing from 17 states, and half way around the globe, about 43% of Albright College's class of 2024 students come from hometowns outside of Pennsylvania. The class of 2024 began classes early this year, on August 17. Overall, the class of 2024's most popular major is Business Administration, followed closely by biology/biochemistry and psychology. About 40 students are taking advantage of the college's Alpha program to help undecided students find their academic fit. Welcome to Albright, class of 2024!

High School seniors from around the country and the globe have committed to attend Albirght College, in Reading, Pa., this fall. As one of the most diverse colleges in the country, Albright College challenges students to see the world in different ways with the help of professors who are both dedicated mentors and experts in their fields. Fall 2020 classes officially begin on Monday, August 17.
