Executive Board and Cabinet members of Albright College's 2024-25 Student Government Association have been elected to advocate for the Albright College student body, liaise between students and college administration, and represent students to the college's Board of Trustees.

Albright College students completed internships across a range of areas such as accounting, athletics, health care, marketing and fashion during summer 2024.

Twenty-eight high-performing Albright students have been named peer tutors for the 2024-25 academic year. Several are certified by the College Reading and Learning Association's International Tutor Training Program.

Albright College students are competing as members of the Lions' NCAA Division III varsity athletic teams this fall, in the historic Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC).

A crew of Albright College students worked backstage and front-of-house with Albright alumnus R. Scott French '87 of VERY New York to put on a fashion runway showcase for a capacity media crowd in New York City. Albright's 2024 New York Fashion Week show featured designs by alumni and students.

Throughout their entire first year, a cohort of 16 students will be living and learning together as Albright College Global Scholars.

Taking on a highly-responsible position, Resident Assistants (RAs) lead and support the development of each individual in Albright's residence halls and apartments. RAs develop positive personal relationships with residents, collaborate with campus offices, empower residents to effectively interact with classmates, and uphold Albright community standards. They are highly trained in safety, as well as campus resources, programming and policies.

Albright College Peer Orientation Persons (POPs) are mentors who guide students through their first year on campus, beginning with summer on-boarding and Welcome Weekend.

Albright's academically-minded class of 2028 joins the Reading, Pa., community from both coasts, 14 different states and 10 countries - including Germany, Ghana, Italy, Macau S.A.R., Nepal, Portugal, Switzerland, Thailand and the United Arab Emirates. More than a third will compete as Division III varsity athletes and 47% will be the first in their families to attend college. Fifty-three percent are students of color, 27 identified as National Honor Society members and 36 speak at least two languages. 79% plan to take advantage of the college's distinctive co-major program, which enables students to cross or combine different programs, without taking longer to graduate.

Eight Albright College alumni and one student will present their original fashion collections on a New York Fashion Week runway, Sept. 7, 2024.

To be eligible for the Dean's List, Albright students must earn a GPA of 3.75 or better while taking a minimum of three letter-graded courses during a semester.

Sixty-one varsity-level Albright College student-athletes were honored by the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) this June as members of the winter and spring 2024 Academic Honor Roll, for earning a grade point average of 3.2 or higher during their athletic season. Among the 61 honored Lions were 11 Albright athletes who earned a perfect 4.0 GPA.

Each semester, Albright College students travel the globe. This summer and fall semesters, Albright students are studying off campus in Washington, D.C., Northern Ireland and France.

Through Albright Creative Research Experience (ACRE) projects, undergraduate students conduct research or pursue creative endeavors outside of regular semester sessions. Student proposals that are accepted by a faculty review board are rewarded with college stipends.

Albright College student-artists have been selected for awards for their artwork in the competitive 2024 Annual Juried Student Exhibition.

Thirty-five members of the Albright College Class of 2024 have been named lifetime Jacob Albright Scholars. Established in 1982, the Jacob Albright Society celebrates Albright graduates with a grade point average of 3.85 or higher, who have completed at least half their course work at the college.

Albright College's Athletic Department honored top student-athletes for the 2023-2024 seasons, Tuesday, April 30, in Merner-Pfeiffer-Klein Memorial Chapel.

After a full year of work, 15 Albright College students are presenting completed senior theses research. Each senior thesis is a major undertaking and the culmination of concentrated independent research, vetted by a faculty advisor and a committee of faculty readers.

Known as the launchpad of American theater, the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center is dedicated to nurturing new work and new artists. Its competitive, semester-long immersive residencies in Waterford, Connecticut allow students to work with master teachers to create theater.

For nine weeks this summer, Albright College Daniel Reyes will attend and perform at the Austrian American Mozart Academy (AAMA) in Salzburg, Austria. The AAMA Opera Summer Program is designed for singers who strive to acquire specialization in the performance of the German Lieder and Operas of W.A. Mozart.

New student-members must have completed at least two college English or literature courses beyond the usual first-year requirements, and maintain a minimum 3.0 grade point average in order to be invited to join the international English honor society.

Six Albright psychology students presented original research at the National Conference on Undergraduate Research, April 2024, in Long Beach California. The presenters included Katherine Banholzer '24, Taisha Charles '24, Mineishka Garcia '25, Chelsey Nievez '24, Laura Poynter '24 and Samantha Raby '25.

Albright's Domino Players and Theatre Department present "Urinetown: The Musical," written by Greg Kotis and directed by Ben Galosi '25, April 18-21, 2024. Satirizing capitalism, corporate politics, and the illustrious world of musical theatre, "Urinetown: The Musical" envisions a world where people have to pay to pee.

More than 60 Albright College students presented scholarly work at the 25th annual Berks County Undergraduate Research and Creativity Conference, April 26, 2024.

Directed by Derrick Thompson, Ed.D., and accompanied by Jeffrey Lentz and Karen Eddinger on piano, the Albright College "African American Tradition & Beyond" choral concert was peformed March 2 as part of the spring 2024 musical season.
