Executive Board and Cabinet members of Albright College's 2024-25 Student Government Association have been elected to advocate for the Albright College student body, liaise between students and college administration, and represent students to the college's Board of Trustees.

Albright College students completed internships across a range of areas such as accounting, athletics, health care, marketing and fashion during summer 2024.

Twenty-eight high-performing Albright students have been named peer tutors for the 2024-25 academic year. Several are certified by the College Reading and Learning Association's International Tutor Training Program.

Albright College students are competing as members of the Lions' NCAA Division III varsity athletic teams this fall, in the historic Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC).

A crew of Albright College students worked backstage and front-of-house with Albright alumnus R. Scott French '87 of VERY New York to put on a fashion runway showcase for a capacity media crowd in New York City. Albright's 2024 New York Fashion Week show featured designs by alumni and students.

Throughout their entire first year, a cohort of 16 students will be living and learning together as Albright College Global Scholars.

Taking on a highly-responsible position, Resident Assistants (RAs) lead and support the development of each individual in Albright's residence halls and apartments. RAs develop positive personal relationships with residents, collaborate with campus offices, empower residents to effectively interact with classmates, and uphold Albright community standards. They are highly trained in safety, as well as campus resources, programming and policies.

Eight Albright College alumni and one student will present their original fashion collections on a New York Fashion Week runway, Sept. 7, 2024.

Albright's academically-minded class of 2028 joins the Reading, Pa., community from both coasts, 14 different states and 10 countries - including Germany, Ghana, Italy, Macau S.A.R., Nepal, Portugal, Switzerland, Thailand and the United Arab Emirates. More than a third will compete as Division III varsity athletes and 47% will be the first in their families to attend college. Fifty-three percent are students of color, 27 identified as National Honor Society members and 36 speak at least two languages. 79% plan to take advantage of the college's distinctive co-major program, which enables students to cross or combine different programs, without taking longer to graduate.

To be eligible for the Dean's List, Albright students must earn a GPA of 3.75 or better while taking a minimum of three letter-graded courses during a semester.

Sixty-one varsity-level Albright College student-athletes were honored by the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) this June as members of the winter and spring 2024 Academic Honor Roll, for earning a grade point average of 3.2 or higher during their athletic season. Among the 61 honored Lions were 11 Albright athletes who earned a perfect 4.0 GPA.

Through Albright Creative Research Experience (ACRE) projects, undergraduate students conduct research or pursue creative endeavors outside of regular semester sessions. Student proposals that are accepted by a faculty review board are rewarded with college stipends.

Albright College student-artists have been selected for awards for their artwork in the competitive 2024 Annual Juried Student Exhibition.

Congratulations to Albright College's class of 2024 master's degree candidates! Albright graduates will celebrate the 164th Commencement Ceremony at Santander Arena on Sunday, May 12, 2024. The event will be livestreamed on Albright's Commencement website.

New student-members must have completed at least two college English or literature courses beyond the usual first-year requirements, and maintain a minimum 3.0 grade point average in order to be invited to join the international English honor society.

Two first-year Albright College Global Scholar students will present their work on furthering Justice, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (JEDI) for the 35th annual Association of Academic Programs in Latin America and the Caribbean conference held in Cali, Colombia.

Albright College students and faculty penned "Best of Berks" profiles for Berks County Living magazine's December 2023 issue.

Nine Albright College seniors were named members of the Albright College Homecoming Court this fall.

Sixteen new Albright students eased their high school to college transition through a four-week Summer Scholars program for incoming students.

Albright College senior, Megan Keller has accepted a position in Thomas Jefferson University's Ph.D. program for biomedical sciences and will begin working toward her doctorate this coming fall, after completing her Albright bachelor's degree in biology/biotechnology.
