Albright Chemistry Research Presented to American Chemical Society

Research by Albright College students, alumni and faculty has been accepted for presentation to the American Chemical Society this March. Nearly as old as Albright College, the American Chemical Society is one of the world's largest scientific organizations with more than 200,000 members across 140 countries. Thousands of members gather to share ideas and advance scientific and technical knowledge during the American Chemical Society conference, March 17-21 in New Orleans, La.

Albright Students/Faculty Present Psychology Research

Albright College psychology students and faculty presented research projects at the Eastern Psychological Association Annual Conference, Feb. 29-March 2, 2024. Founded in 1896, the Eastern Psychological Association (EPA) is the oldest regional Psychological Association in the United States. Its sole purpose is to advance the science and profession through the dissemination of professional information about the field of Psychology. EPA achieves this goal by conducting its annual meeting where members present the latest advances in professional and scientific work to their colleagues.

Albright College Students/Alumni Show Designs at NYFW

Albright College students and alumni returned for a third year as the sole undergraduate college to unveil designs on a New York Fashion Week runway on Sept. 9. Produced by alumnus R. Scott French '87 of VERY New York, this year's show was at capacity just days after invitations went out and boasted attendance by national and international media outlets. The 2023 show featured the talent and innovation of six alumni designers, and a large crew of students who worked behind the scenes to make the show a success.

Class of 2027 arrives at Albright College

A large class of academically-minded first year and transfer students are joining the Albright College community, as the class of 2027. Globally, they are joining the Reading, Pa., community from 18 different states and 14 countries. 36 graduated in the top 10% of their high school classes and 68 are eligible for Albright's prestigious Honors program. More than 50% are the first in their families to attend college. More than a third will compete as varsity Division III athletes. 70% plan to take advantage of the college's distinctive co-major program, which enables students to cross or combine different programs, without taking longer to graduate.
