Thirty-six high-performing Albright students have been named peer tutors for the 2022-23 academic year. All Albright tutors are certified or are attending trainings to be certified by the College Reading and Learning Association's International Tutor Training Program.

Albright College students are competing as members of the Lions' NCAA Division III varsity athletic teams this fall.

Throughout their entire first year, a cohort of 15 students will be living and learning together as Albright College's inaugural class of Global Scholars.

A large class of academically-minded first year and transfer students are joining the Albright College community, as the class of 2026. Globally, they are joining the Reading, Pa., community from 22 different states and four countries (Argentina, Ghana, Hong Kong SAR and Japan). More than 20% of class members are eligible for Albright's rigorous honors program and 19 are Albright Shirk Scholars. More than 55% will be the first in their families to attend college.

Albright College Peer Orientation Persons (POPs) are mentors who guide students through their first year on campus, beginning with summer on-boarding and Welcome Weekend.

Albright College students are completing internships across a range of areas such as sport management, biology, accounting, marketing and fashion during summer 2022.

Albright College student, Megan Keller, of Bel Air, Md., led discussion on Poxviruses for the 41st annual American Society for Virology conference in Madison, Wisconsin. Founded in 1981, the American Society for Virology was the first scientific society in the world dedicated exclusively to virology.

Recognized for maintaining academic achievement and leadership while facing personal challenges, Albright College School of Professional Studies student, Jesse Miller, of Pottstown, Pa., has been named the recipient of a $2,500 Alpha Sigma Lambda scholarship award.

To be eligible for the Dean's List, Albright students must earn a GPA of 3.75 or better while taking a minimum of three letter-graded courses during a semester.

Through Albright Creative Research Experience (ACRE) projects, undergraduate students conduct research or pursue creative endeavors outside of regular semester sessions. Student proposals that are accepted by a faculty review board are rewarded with college stipends.

Hard-working Albright College students have earned year-end awards for academic work.

Twenty seven members of the Albright College Class of 2022 have been named lifetime Jacob Albright Scholars. Established in 1982, the Jacob Albright Society celebrates Albright graduates with a grade point average of 3.85 or higher, who have completed at least half their course work at the college.

First presented in 1930, Albright College's Gold "A" is awarded to seniors for outstanding leadership in campus activities other than athletics, and for contributions to the intellectual, literary, musical, artistic and/or social life of the college. Gold "A" Award winners have enriched the cultural life of the college and promoted a more congenial atmosphere.

Twenty seven Albright College students presented original artwork at the Freedman Gallery's annual juried student exhibit, this May. Several artists earned prizes and awards, given in different categories during a special reception, May 5.

Directed by Jeffrey Lentz and Karen Eddinger, the "Sing On!" choral concert will be held May 7, in the Albright College Memorial Chapel.

After a full year of work, 22 Albright College students are presenting completed senior theses research. Each senior thesis is a major undertaking and the culmination of concentrated independent research, vetted by a faculty advisor and a committee of faculty readers.
